I am sooo over the COLD!!! I can’t wait to strip away the layers and be in Thailand and Cambodia already. I am so excited about elephant rides, the beach, lady boys (lol), THAI FOOD, night life, Angkor Wat, the killing fields, temples, Cambodian FOOD, more Beach days, and the experience of course.
But for now..Work. Well, Work is not bad, just busy desk warming and teaching a few classes this week since my kids are almost done with their grade. Still, I rather teach then sit and go on the computer all day.. . my body gets anxious. Plus, I miss seeing my kids…they really make my 9-5 days go by faster.
*OO and I am proud of myself.. I have been working out every day!! Nothing like a good run, stretch and weight training. Some of the adjashis (old korean men) help me lift weights…it’s pretty funny when you think about it. I’m just mad that the debauchery in the weekends F me over.. but I have been cutting back.
* Still, I am not in a diet. I don’t believe in diets. I think they are stupid and they never work. Look at Oprah. I will ALWAYS be a foodie. I love food. I love to eat. It’s all about moderation and getting your ass up to work a sweat.
*Sidenote: I can’t believe that it has almost been 6 months in Korea. Tempus fugit !! Time flies! I definitely recommend studying, working, and living abroad to anyone who has an open mind and who has the travel bug like I do. It’s always good to get away from your comfort zone. I felt that I have learned and grown a lot for the past 6 months.
Korea is great and I get sooo annoyed when I meet some foreigners (Americans, Canadians, British, etc) that constantly compare Korea with their own. I just want to tell some of their asses to get over it…it was your choice to move… have an open mind and learn about the culture and embrace it for what it is. Like my FB group says, “Wish I can punch someone in the face with no consequences”.
Overall life is good like always. You will never hear “FML” from my mouth. I think that is the worst slang you can say. Why in the world would you belittle your life into three letters. Anyways, enough babble… gonna read now. Payce!
